M-Cap Silver/Gold


M-CAP Supreme Silver and Gold capacitors are the latest new additions to the range of Mundorf components. According to Mundorf the crystalline structure of the 99.99% Silver with an admixture of 1% Pure Gold is improved on which gives this capacitor more precision combined with a sense of harmony and elegance.

M-Cap Silver Oil

SlvrOil

This product is an oil impregnated metallized paper dielectric capacitor, with the same series wiring as the M-CAP Supreme capacitors. As the name indicates, high-purity silver is used for the capacitor coating, and the winding is impregnated with a special oil developed in an exhaustive series of experiments and listening tests. Both these features contribute to an even fuller and smoother tonal richness and diversity.

M-Cap

The M-CAP is an audiophile metallized polypropylene capacitor. In selection of the materials used, special attention was given to the sound properties. Great care taken during the production guarantees constant high quality and minimum electrical and mechanical tolerances. The practically induction-free type of construction and the low loss factor of the M-CAP results in a very "quick" capacitor. The M-CAP forms the basis for vivid music reproduction, rich in nuance.

M-Cap ZN

MCAP-ZN

The M-CAP® ZN is a tinfoil capacitor of the highest class. Solid tinfoil, together with high grade polypropylene as dielectric, are used in its manufacture. This massive tin
layer improves the sound properties in unexpected ways because of the great weight of the tinfoil and the resulting mass inertia, oscillation of the foil and the accompanying
microphonic effect are effec tively prevented. Similarly to the vacuum impregnation which we provide for choke coils, this fact leads to an increase in transparency and spatial quality. The loss angle tan ∂ @ 1 kHz is ten times smaller than that for a normal MKP capacitor. It is only 0.00002 @ 1 kHz and a mere 0.00001 @ 10 kHz. This makes this capacitor incredibly quick and lively.

M-Tubecap

The TubeCap is made of polyprophylene film with special features. This is particularly thin and the self-healing properties are markedly pronounced due to a special coating.

The TubeCap combines a high degree of dielectric strength and low residual inductivity with a very compact form of construction. It has been developed as a high-quality technical alternative to high-voltage electrolytic capacitors and is thus ideally suited to use in tube amplifiers.

The advantages vis-.-vis electrolytic capacitors are:
• Lower ESR and lower residual inductivity
• No drying out; therefore longer service life
• Self-healing properties
• More compact form of construction
• There is no series connection necessary for increasing the dielectric strength.

The TubeCap contributes to a finer, livelier and higher-definition sound impression.

MLytic Power HC High Current Power Cap



A patented method for internal contacting enables the realisation of a very low ESR and the most marginal residual inductivity.

These capacitors are designed for continuous current of up to several hundred amperes. Therefore, they have been prepared for mounting on a heat sink. Due to these attributes these capacitors can supply extreme peak currents. They are the first choice when it comes to equipping transistor amplifies with an uncompromising power supply. They do this very quickly and thus form the basis for a dynamic, precise bass as well as a lively and clear middle/high tone range. Even with extreme bass impulses the playback remains stable and clean, without any compression effects whatsoever.

The MLytic electrolytic capacitors have been developed from the latest materials and under utilisation of the most modern manugacturing technique especially for the requirements of tube amplifiers. The 450 VDC versions have an axial construction form, whereas the 500 VDC types are offered in snap-in housing. Following many classic designs, these capacitors are offered as doubly capacity. In addition to the utilisation in new developments, they are also outstandingly suitable for repairs and tuning of existing amplifiers.

MLytic Audio Grade Power Cap



With the MLytic Audio Grade series we are extending our range of products to a series especially conceived for applications within the pre-amplifiers or small power amplifiers.

The assemblage always refers to snap-in models for assembly boards. Throughout its development, importance was placed upon attaining low ESR and ESL values, as well as a low inner-sound development. Storage facilities are currently being constructed.
